Investor's requirements:

To design a dentist surgery to be located in the ground floor of the existing single-family house.  There are two rooms available for adaptation and the overall area is 41m².

Solutions used:

Despite this small area, we saved up place for the surgery room having one unit, waiting room, a vestibule, a toilet for personnel, a toilet adapted for the needs of handicapped people and a technical room for a compressor.

We used lighting for dentist surgery rooms with 90Ra of color give up rate. In order to properly use daylight and to provide required proportion between surfaces of windows and floor, the window opening was enlarged.

Interior colors are relaxing – combination of white and green.  All requirements of sanitary, industrial safety, fire control services are met.  Despite such small usable area, this place is functional and well organized.  The entrance is designed in such way that patients would not have an access to the private part.  External intervention in building's form does not disorder its previous shape and character.
