Casino games arcade in the Nevada Centre
Facility data:
facility: interior design of casino games arcade in the Nevada hotel centre
location: Poźrzadło
design date: 2008
usable area: 148m²
Investor's requirements:
To design a casino games arcade in an atypical place, i.e. an Egyptian pyramid shaped building. The form should be inviting for clients of adjoining restaurant. There should be space for about 25 machine slots, automatic roulette, a place for rest and a counter in a form of a bar. The lighting intensity should be controllable.
Solutions used:
In order to emphasize functional autonomy from the restaurant and to create a feeling of intimacy and coziness, highlighted spatial forms were put on a lowered ceiling. Ceiling highlighting with reflected light creates an image of its lightness and emphasizes it making an interesting unique form.
Arrangement of slot machines in an island form refers to a roulette shape and in result creates coherent, almost symmetrical interior. There are also references to roulette forms on the ceiling in the form of cut out circles.
3D forms were also put above slot machines, embrace them and arrange space what gives a client a feeling of order and lack of randomness.
